Whyalla Aged Care has 11 retirement living units located between Annie Lockwood Court and Yeltana Nursing Home on Newton Street, Whyalla. Being located adjacent to the coast line, many of the retirement units provide sweeping views of the Spencer Gulf and provide the perfect opportunity for residents to take a leisurely stroll along the beach, drop in a fishing line or just relax in a deck chair reading a book.
Whyalla Aged Care provides comfortable retirement living accommodation to suit a range of individual needs, in either one, two or three bedroom units.
Residents purchase a licence to occupy a unit. This means that they have a lifetime right to occupy the unit, but do not own the actual bricks and mortar or land.
Fees and charges are dependent on the type and size of the unit and also according to legislation contained under the Retirement Villages Act.
Retirement Living Units are designed for either singles or couples, over the age of 55, who are able to live independently. However personal care and other support services can be arranged on a fee for service basis, if required.
